Green Niles was originally founded by Mr.
Hassan Abdel Wahab Issa — a Member of the Egyptian House of Representatives — together with his son, Captain Mohamed Hassan, as a group of food import and export companies.
Later, the export division was established under Green Nile Export, a company fully owned by the group, to serve as the dedicated arm for international trade. It was co-founded by Mr. Amr Tolba, Sales Manager, and Dr. Abdelaziz Reda, Export Director.
Together, they helped Green Nile become one of Egypt’s most successful export companies across various sectors — especially in the salt industry.
With a clear vision for growth, Green Nile continues to expand its reach and product offerings to serve international markets with quality and integrity.
